Privacy Policy
This privacy statement discloses the
privacy policy for InnerPass. If you have any questions about this policy or if
you feel that this company is not abiding by its policy, you should contact our
customer service department.
1.Information Collection and Use. In
order to offer certain features on our web site, InnerPass collects and
maintains certain information provided by its users. InnerPass is the sole
owner of the information received on this site. We will not sell, share, or
rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in
this statement. InnerPass will release information as required by legitimate
legal proceedings or under a court order issued by a court of competent
jurisdiction.
2. Registration and Ordering. In order to use certain areas of this web
site or to take advantage of special promotions, a user may have to register.
During registration a user is required to give their contact information (such
as name and e-mail address) as well as other business related information. InnerPass
may use this information to contact users about the services on our site for
which they have expressed interest and to allow InnerPass to determine what
services are most useful to our customers. We will provide information to such
third parties only if you indicate your desire to use them by clicking on the
appropriate box, menu item, or link.
3. Posted Transaction Information. To allow you to use certain features
on our site, InnerPass may ask you for information about your business, its
products, or its requests for products. You do not have to enter information
about your business, but if you choose not to, you may not be able to use
certain features of our site.
4. Sharing. InnerPass will not share or sell user information with any
outside parties inconsistent with this Privacy Policy. In order to provide
better service and features, we may share aggregated demographic information
with our partners and advertisers. Demographic information is not linked to any
personal information that can identify any individual person. InnerPass
contracts with some third parties to provide specific services such as content,
shipping, credit services, or other services that
assist our customers with their online transactions. If you sign up for any
third party services by clicking on a menu option or link, we may share names
or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide
these services. Please review the privacy statements of our third party service
providers prior to providing them information.
5. Links. This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware
that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We
encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the
privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally
identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information
collected and disseminated by this web site.
6. Security. This web site takes every precaution to protect our users'
information. When users submit sensitive information via the web site, your
information is protected both online and off-line. When our registration/order
form asks users to enter sensitive information, that information is encrypted
and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While
on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web
browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes
locked, as opposed to unlocked, or open, when you are just 'surfing'. While we
use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we take extensive
measures to protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information,
not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our
offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for
example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted
access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, all employees are
kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well
as any time new policies are added, our employees are
notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what
they can do to ensure our customers' information is protected.
7.Site and Service Updates. We may also
send the user InnerPass site and service announcement updates. Members are not
able to unsubscribe from service announcements, which contain important
information about the service. Announcements may be sent via e-mail or made by
telephone.
8. Correction/Updating Personal Information. All changes to a user's
personally identifiable information (such as a change of address) can be made
online.
9. Notification of Changes. Any changes to the InnerPass Privacy
Statement will be effective as of the date of their posting on our web site. If our policy changes, such changes will not be retroactive to
users who have already provided us information.
