Inbox FAQs

What is Inbox?

You can think of Inbox as your own secured web storage for receiving files instead of traditional email. One of the best things about Inbox is that the people sending you files do not need InnerPass, they only need to email to your inbox account. The main purpose of Inbox is simply to make it easier for you to receive files and documents, and save you time. Here are the main points:

  • Inbox will allow others, whether they have InnerPass or not, to send files directly to you via your Inbox Account.

  • Sending is easy, just instruct your colleagues to send one or more files to you using your Skype name:  yourskypename@InnerPass.com.  The file(s) they send to you will appear under the new InnerPass tab called Inbox.

  • This replaces the process of someone emailing you a file, you opening the email, opening the attached file, saving the file, and uploading the file to your InnerPass account.

  • You can view your Inbox files without downloading them to your computer which also saves time.

  • You can either work with the files right out of your Inbox, organize them by moving them to your meeting rooms, or save them to your hard drive.

  • You can select a file from you Inbox and send a response to the person who sent it.

  • You can add comments to the file.  The comments do not become part of the document; rather they simply act as notes, thoughts or reminders about the file.
